Today, in the framework of the exhibition MOLDAGROTECH (spring) 2017 was held the international contest Useful for Moldova.
17 companies participating in this event submitted to the contest committee, headed by Iurie Usurelu, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Moldova, 31 samples of agricultural machinery, equipment for gardeners, livestock breeders, for the processing industry, and also fertilizers.
Among the competing samples figured tractors, seeders, harvesters, sprayers, harrows, plows, mowers, and bio fertilizers. The committee is currently evaluating the samples, paying particular attention to such criteria as know-how elements, possibility of applying in the conditions of Moldova's agriculture, innovative aspects and others.
The purpose of the contest is to familiarize agricultural producers with modern machinery and new technologies for the modernization of the production process and the development of agribusiness in the Republic of Moldova. The competition is held in 4 categories, attracting local and foreign manufacturers and dealers of equipment for agriculture and processing industry, as well as manufacturers and dealers of phytosanitary products and fertilizers for the agro-industrial sector.
The winners of the contest Useful for Moldova will be announced on Saturday, March 18.
