Today, the INTERNATIONAL FASHION EXPO-2018 exhibition, the largest and most significant event in the fashion industry of the Republic of Moldova, started its works at the IEC Moldexpo.
Participants, guests and everyone devoted to style and fashion were greeted by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, Iulia Costin. Noting that this is “the most beautiful exhibition of the exhibition program of the Republic of Moldova, which shows the creativity of our designers”, Iu. Kostin paid special attention to the role of the exhibition for the domestic light industry. Presenting some of the main indicators of the sector, including the growth in exports of finished products, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure expressed the confidence that the INTERNATIONAL FASHION EXPO exhibition plays a significant role in the development of the core market. The exhibition attracts representatives of foreign companies, promotes the creation of partnerships between Moldovan and foreign manufacturers and distributors, promotes brands of domestic designers, and also serves to popularize the latest collections of young designers from Moldova.
“We see that from year to year the collections of our participants are getting better and better. This is evidenced by many guests of the exhibition, ”said Alexandra Kan, chairman of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Moldova's Light Industry. Thanking development partners for their support and businessmen for maintaining the high reputation of the industry, A. Kahn urged everyone to visit all the fashion shows of the Din Inima companies.
Doina Nistor, Director of the Moldova Competitiveness Project, funded by USAID Moldova and the Swedish government, also noted that Moldovan brands are increasingly gaining overseas markets. According to her, the serious success of the Moldovan manufacturers is due to the high quality of models, ingenuity and diligence of local designers. All the best and creative works are presented by our designers and companies at this year's exhibition, so foreign buyers will have something to look at.
The INTERNATIONAL FASHION EXPO 2018 exhibition will run until October 7 and will fashion shows of clothing collections, presentations of famous and young designers.
